FAQ
Who is Duly for?
Independent motorcycle workshops in the UK, from one-person garages to busy workshops with an MOT bay. If you keep track of parts, bikes and who owes what, it's for you.
How does the free trial work?
Add a card when you sign up and use everything for 7 days. Nothing is taken during the trial. When it ends, your first £40 is charged and then it's monthly. Cancel before then from Settings and you pay nothing. One trial per workshop.
Is there a contract?
No. It is £40 a month, billed monthly by Stripe, and you can cancel whenever you like from Settings. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
Can I keep track of bikes I rent out or sell in instalments?
Yes, with Rental & Selling. Add the customer, the bike, the amount and how often they pay: weekly, every two weeks or monthly. Duly lists each payment as it falls due and you mark it paid with how they paid. If you already charge them through your own Stripe, keep their Stripe link on their page.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Duly runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.
How do the reminders reach my customers?
You tap WhatsApp or Email next to a customer and the message is written for you, in one of seven languages. It goes from your own WhatsApp or email, so the customer hears from you and not from an app.
How long does it take to set up?
An afternoon. Start with the parts on the shelf and the customers who owe you this week, then add bikes as they come in. The MOT and tax dates fill themselves in from DVLA.
